OC Cliff Notes / Blanket Permissions
Apr. 4th, 2019 11:54 pmBuster Heywood is an accountant in his early thirties. Originally from New Jersey, he lived in New York briefly after college, then moved to southwestern Connecticut to be the town accountant for the small city of Aviario.
Two years after moving there, he found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, and was suddenly the victim of a very nasty spiral of blackmail. This is usually where the bulk of a History section would go, but I'd much prefer it if you read the whole thing, of course.
For the purpose of memes, PSLs, test drives, and other random threads, I'm taking him from after the novel - but given the nature of what he's been through, he's not likely to spoil anything.
Buster falls on the high-functioning, low-grade end of the autism spectrum, has social anxiety issues, and post-traumatic stress disorder. This makes for an interesting combination, but he still tries his best to engage with people. He's healing, after all, and his best friend's favorite piece of advice is "just keep talking". He tries to avoid any conversations that involve excessive violence or disturbing material, but that doesn't mean I won't throw him into one or two just to watch him squirm once in a while. I will, however, not be putting him in any variations on shipping memes.
